Hi Jan- It looks like the Kindle editon Monika added the cover to was added with an ISBN rather than an ASIN; Kindle formats should be added with an Amazon ASIN rather than an ISBN. Is the book Kindle exclusive, or is it available in ebook format elsewhere (Kobo, iBook, etc.?)? If so, I'll remove the ISBN and add the ASIN, but if not we'll need to update the format and remove the Kindle cover, while adding another Kindle edition with the appropriate ASIN.

Also, covers are edition specific, so we can't just use the Kindle cover image for the pbk, and I don't see a cover image listed on Amazon (or elsewhere) for a pbk edition.

It's a minefield!! I've created the Kindle edition as an ebook, which is on Amazon but has its own ISBN and, although not yet available on other e-platforms, is not exclusive to Amazon. The paperback version, with a different ISBN, is with the printers now. The front cover is identical on both versions. The paperback will also be available for print-on-demand on Amazon. It's on pre-order on my own website (josiekingbooks.com) and will go for sale a week after the release date on Amazon (does all of that make sense?)

So, the ISBN that is currently added to the "Kindle edition" will be the ISBN for other ebook editions for sale in the future, is that correct, or it is only the ISBN for the Kindle? Amazon Kindle books are always listed with the ASIN, not an ISBN. Sorry for the confusion, I just need to confirm the correct details.

And even if the covers are identical, I can't use the Kindle cover for the pbk edition.

It is a single ISBN for the ebook - it is currently only available on Amazon but I may put it on other ebook platforms with the same ISBN. Are you able to take the paperback cover from my site?

It looks like someone took care of adding the pbk cover, so that is all set here Planet Fran - Population One. I changed the "Kindle" edition that had been added with the ebook ISBN to an ebook edition, and removed the Kindle cover image, and added the actual Kindle edition Planet Fran - Population One.
