Cait (tigercait) | 5005 comments I came across a few listings like this and couldn't tell if they were textbooks or non-book software -- does anyone know?

Not sure. However, several sites identify them as paperbacks.

Edit: OK, I don't think they're software. They wouldn't be selling Blackboard (used for online classes, or regular classes with an online component), and it doesn't really have outside modules (AFAIK). My guess is that it's an instructor's guide to integrate the textbook with Blackboard (or Java, in one case).

Cait (tigercait) | 5005 comments Cool, thanks!

(Did you mean to combine "Operating System Concepts" and "Operating System Principles" for that author, by the way? I didn't think they were the same book, but I didn't dig too deeply.)

Yup. They seem to be the same thing (one a revision of the other).
