Rue Robertson | 1 comments I have a website and am trying to decide if it is worth it to sell my book directly from my site. I am an Indie Author and this is my first book. I do have my site up but I'm not sure how much readers visit author sites or how important it is to sell my book there. It is available on Amazon, etc as well as other places. Does anyone have any experience with this and if so, what are you doing and is it working for you? Thanks, Rue Robertson

P.D. Workman (pdworkman) Print or ebook?

If you offer the ebook on your website, you cannot have it enrolled in KDP Select. Authors do it, but you need to balance the pros and cons of the two options.

If you offer print, you need to think about shipping, etc. I know a number of authors who offer autographed copies at higher than list price.

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Hi Rue, there is already a thread asking this same question.

You can add to the conversation there and we'll be closing this thread as a duplicate.
Thanks!
