[At the risk of stating the obvious] You appear to be holding two profiles:
▪︎ a user (non-author) profile: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/6...
▪︎ an author profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Since you claim to have written the two books you refer to, you should be able to use the author profile to set the default edition.
