This topic is for the series suggestions. Each person can suggest one book for this category. If you suggest more than one book only your first suggestion will count. Authors can't suggest their own book. Any book that was suggested by its author will not be counted.

To suggest a book please put the title and the author. And remember the book must be be YA! New Adult and Adult books will not be accepted.

Also a little reminder to everyone. This is not where you vote. This is where you make suggestions for the poll. Suggestions will close June 10th!

Don't forget to suggest something for the Stand Alone suggestion and Theme suggestion.

The suggestions also can't be something we've already read and they have to be young adult because we are a young adult group! To see what we've read and haven't read go to the books we've read topic. If you are new I strongly suggest this!

No offense but they have already been accepted. A court of thorns and roses is a new adult book and a court of mist and fury is erotica. Just because Children bloomsbury has 0 ethics and it's marketing as YA doesn't make it a YA adult book.

I mean if those books are accepted then we might as well read the queen of all that dies or transcendence

The Queen of All that Dies (The Fallen World, #1) by Laura Thalassa

Angelfall starts Young adult and then it turns New adult in the third book, it's a self published book with way more quality than half the catalogue of plenty of big publishers but here it is Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee

The queen of all that dies is less graphic sexually speaking than ACOMAF and has better writing, imagine like a shatter me kind of series.

True, but let's not keep adding new adult books if the group members aren't on age yet.

Since the moderators and I have not read all the books that have been suggested we go by how the book is shelved on Goodreads. On the side there's usually a list of the shelves in order of how many people have shelved the book. At the time, when A Court of Thorns and Roses was suggested it was shelved as Young Adult before it was shelved as New Adult. I have not checked recently to see if this is still the case.

I'm sorry if this is something that bothers you, but we have found that this method seems to be the most efficient and accurate way of determining if a book is YA. In addition, we require no one to read the book if they don't want to
