Happy June! The sun is shining (today, at least!) and it really feels like summer is on its way.

Is everyone planning their summer reading?
Or maybe you just want to see what comes along and looks interesting?

Feel free to share what you are reading or what you want to read!

Martha | 13 comments My plan for this summer is to read more short stories. I really enjoy the short story form when I find a good collection. It’s so satisfying to get through an entire story in one evening. I have a couple of collections I want to read. My plan is to read the The Best American Short Stories 2016. I chose this because I saw several authors listed in this book that I’m interested in – Andrea Barrett, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Karen Russell and Ted Chiang. Plus I may find a new great writer I like!

I also have a collection of science fiction short stories – Masterpieces: The Best Science Fiction of the 20th Century. Classic Sci-Fi!

I am intrigued! I will definitely look for this one!
