John Seymour 3. Because of his lack of education, Ashok calls Balram "half-baked." What does he mean by this? How does Balram go about educating himself? What does he learn?

Not fully mature. He is only half cooked, he needs more maturing. He really gets his education on the streets of India. He learns corruption.

Pip | 1301 comments The expression is used a lot in New Zealand in the context of a "half baked" idea, meaning something that has not been thought through as thoroughly as might be desirable. So I took that meaning. It also implies rushing into something thoughtlessly.
