Why do you love Jacky?

I love Jacky for many reasons, but one is that she isn't like many heroines who sit there and hate themselves for being a girl. While she does enjoy the freedoms of being male, she also likes being a lady and buying dresses and acting sophisticated.

Any thoughts?

I agree with you. I love strong girl characters but it's nice to see them enjoy the fem. side too.

I love how she knows what she wants how she usually gets it her way. I also adore the way she she is comfortable with herself (most of the time) She seems like the perfect person to look up to. L.A Meyer did an amazing job with the character development

I love how she knows who she is, and she isn't shy to show very one. She's not intimidated by others and would rather do what she wants than bend to other ppl's wishes. She's the kind of person we all (I think) would like to be more like.

I love how easy-going she is and takes life as it comes to her. She doesn't get bogged down by bad things that happen. There is her need to survive which pulls her through anything.

I would like to add that I love how she can pretend to be anybody else, be it ship's boy or fine lady, but no matter what she is always 100% Jacky Faber. She can make anyone love her, just by being herself. And while she doesn't sit back and let everyone walk over her, she's never unkind. If there were more Jackys in the world, we'd be better off.
