Fergus Moffat | 9 comments I have an original copy of this book (James Nisbet & Co. Limited, 22 Berners Street, London W., printed by T and A Constable, Printers to His Majesty, at the Edinburgh University Press), which was given to my father as a school prize in 1924. I also have a good scan of its hard cover. How to get it onto the Goodreads List, so I can add it to my own?

David Raz (davidraz) | 4070 comments Use this link to upload it to your profile: https://www.goodreads.com/photo/new
Then let us know, ideally supplying links to the book page and to the image you just uploaded.

Fergus Moffat | 9 comments Thanks David. Prior to your supplied link I just could not see how to upload a photo to my profile. I hope these are the links you asked for.

David Raz (davidraz) | 4070 comments The edition you linked is an some Kindle edition, not the edition you have. James Nisbet made many prints and editions of this book, the first edition being, I believe, in 1871. Can you say which edition you have so I can add it properly? The number of pages will also help.

Fergus Moffat | 9 comments David, Ballantyne's Preface in my copy is dated 1871. On the first page--above the chapter number--is the full title... "The Iron Horse or Life On The Line". My copy has 407 pp. I realise now that my link displays what's described as a Kindle edition. I must have selected the wrong option from the Goodreads list.
