Nominate one (1) work of Golden Age SF.

In print is considered a nice touch. No renomination of previously read works.

Yes. Also it's fantasy and a little late to be Golden Age.

Previous works can be found here:

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 132 comments How about When Worlds Collide this edition contains When Worlds Collide and After Worlds Collide (you'll want to read both as the first ends in a sort of cliff hanger).

This is true classic sci/fi and the idea of how things work and would work is interesting in itself.

Clyde (wishamc) | 297 comments According to Wikipedia the SF golden age has two parts: early Golden Age (1938-1946) and the later Golden Age (1949-1959). I presume anything in that range would be OK. (Heh. Seems 1947 and 1948 got lost somehow.)

I propose Wasp by Eric Frank Russell.

Yeah. Operation Chaos was 1970s, so just a little too far.

JackCrow | 3 comments The "Lensmen" books by Doc E.E. Smith. "Galactic Patrol" is a good place to start, but it is just as easy to get a compellation of the series.
