Rosemarie | 263 comments Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is an intense play about a southern family celebrating Big Daddy's birthday. The action on the stage is in "real time", except for intermissions, so all the feelings and emotions that have been bottled up for years are released on this evening. Margaret, also known as Maggie the Cat, motivated by the love for her husband Brick, is there at beginning of the play and also at the end, providing a satisfying conclusion to this powerful play about families.
