Hi TNBBCers!

Which of you have bookish tattoos? I'd love to start a thread here about them. Tell us when you got it, what went into designing it, and it what it means to you.

You can show them off right here in this thread by following the html code in the upper right hand corner of the text box.

Scott Fishman (scishfottman) I do not have a pic handy, but my one and only tattoo is based on a comic book. It is The Joker from The Killing Joke graphic novel.

Sadly, this particular Joker has now spent 24 years on my shoulder and is in need of a refresh.

I got my tattoo quite a few years ago. It's a quote from one of the books written by my favorite author Jose Saramago.

"Inside us there is something that has no name, that something is what we are."

The line if from Blindness. and it really struck a cord with me because I've always struggled with the concepts of faith and religion but I've always felt there is something unique inside each one of us and that uniqueness is what makes us 'us'....
