message 1: by julianna ➹ (new)

julianna ➹ (juliannnnna) I decided to make a second Book Blogs thread for people to put links to their book blogs on, because the first one already has 109 posts and it would be hard for anyone to look through and surely not everyone can blog hop ALL of those. The link to the first one is here, if anyone wants to look through THAT.

So, feel free to put links to your blog here!

1. Put your blog name

2. Please state what type of posts you do [i.e. tags, discussion, only reviews] This is will make it easier for others to blog hop.

3. You can also tell more about your personality if you want/style of writing if you want, but that's up to you.

Also, no conversations, please. This is just for putting your blog on it. Let's avoid posting too much, so that people can find the blogs easily and this doesn't become too clogged up. Thanks!

message 2: by julianna ➹ (new)

julianna ➹ (juliannnnna) I'll go! I created the thread, so whatever.

1. My blog name is Blots of Ink and Words

Here's the link!

2. I mainly post discussion posts but sometimes I post reviews. I also occasionally do tags. Mostly discussion posts, though. I like to think I post helpful stuff sometimes.

3. I try (well, who knows if I really am?) to be funny in my posts. According to some, I have a "screaming fangirl" voice.

Feel free to follow me!

https://soothingrays.wordpress.com

2. I mainly post reviews but I occasionally put up some book lists
too.

3.I usually write short reviews, and if a book is reviewed on my
blog, that means it is one of my favourites. I do not review
anything and everything on my blog.

I post book reviews mostly, however sometimes I am prone to start a discussion or gush about my favourite manga. My blog is a place where I live a special moment of my life. I read almost all genre and Mostly Netgalley books. Also other books when I get review request from authors. :)

Heidi (butbooksarebetter) | 20 comments Some very creative blogs here!
My blog is called but books are better - because they are!
http://butbooksarebetter.blogspot.com...
My favourite genre is mystery / suspense, but I will read anything and everything if the blurb appeals to me. I also read A LOT of ARCs and audiobooks (mainly due to my long commute to work every day). I would like to expand into featuring author interviews and discussions, but with full time shiftwork my time is always a bit limited and I keep very antisocial hours.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi my name is Emma I recently started my book blog and signed up to Netgalley. My blog is http://accioemmasbooks.blogspot.co.uk/
I do reviews, tags, hauls and more. Like I said I'm new and I'm still learning the ropes.

Swetlana (The Caffeinated Bookworm Life) (swetlanareadsya) Hey everyone! My name is Swetlana and I co-blog over at Reading Through The Nights!

We love to do reviews, tags, discussions, join weekly memes here and there and talk about new releases and our monthly wrap ups! We also post every other day so there's always new content to explore! Oh, I should've probably led with the fact that we're a YA blog with a focus on fantasy, sci-fi and contemporary!

I can't wait to have a look around you guys' blog in a bit!

message 18: by Katherine (new)

Katherine Hayward Pérez | 10 comments Hi everyone!

I'm Katherine, and my recently-formed book blog (May 2017) is Katherine's Book Universe. https://katherinesbookuniverse.wordpr...

I do mostly book reviews with the occasional blog-tour post. I'm planning to incorporate giveaways into my blog.

I blog multiple genres: sci fi, fiction thriller women's fiction memoir....whatevwr takes my fancy.

message 19: by Cathy (new)

Cathy (goodreadscomwhatcathyreadnext) Hi Book Lovers,

My blog is What Cathy Read Next: https://whatcathyreadnext.wordpress.com/

I post mostly book reviews but also take part in blog tours, giveaways, book blitzes and the odd cover reveal. I do a weekly wrap-up. I also join in with the occasional meme and publish discussion posts from time to time - when I can think of a topic to discuss that hasn't be done to death by everyone else :)

My favourite genres are historical fiction and literary fiction but I also read crime, thriller, mystery and the occasional SF (dystopian).

What I like best about blogging is reading comments on my reviews and blog posts from lovely fellow bloggers.

message 20: by Bex (Beckie Bookworm) (last edited Jun 27, 2017 03:38PM) (new)

Bex (Beckie Bookworm) (rebeccabeckiebookworm) | 3 comments my blog is Beckie Bookworm https://www.beckiebookworm.com/
Facebook-https://www.facebook.com/beckiebookworm/
Twitter-https://twitter.com/beckie_shelton

I do mainly reviews and book blitzes
I have very eclectic tastes when it comes to fiction
I support a lot of indie authors as well as ones with a publisher.

I suppose my favourite genres are psychological thrillers, romance in all genres, dystopian and YA.
I started my blog about five months ago mainly because I love to analyse what I read.

message 21: by Stacey (new)

Stacey Camp (archaeologystacey) | 10 comments Hi all!

1. My blog is https://idigbooksanddirt.wordpress.com/
My twitter is https://twitter.com/staceylcamp

2. I love psychological thrillers, suspense/mystery, sci-fi, futuristic/speculative fiction, and some literary fiction, and review those genres on my blog.

3. I started this as a way of getting into the habit of reading more books for fun (I am a professor so I read a lot for work), and realized reviews were the way to support my book habit :) I tend to focus on the writing style (I love well written books) and character development in my reviews.

message 22: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (thewrittenadventure) | 8 comments 1. The Written Adventure
https://thewrittenadventure.wordpress...

2. I review books on my blog so far, I only started my blog in mid July. I usually read YA or adult novels and my favorite genres include fantasy, fiction, historical fiction, and crime/mystery.

3. I give honest reviews. If I don't like a book, I'll tell you exactly why. I've read a lot of books (and find that I've continued to read more and more now that I have my blog and bookstagram account.) Since I major in English and have minors in creative writing and professional writing, I have a good background to review books.

message 23: by Annie (new)

Annie (bionerdannie) | 32 comments Hi! Thanks for the thread

1. Nonstop Reader - https://nonstopreaderbooks.blogspot.no/

2. I review books I read on my blog. There are a few posts about other things I've been asked about (hobbies, etc)... but 99% of it is book reviews, mostly for NetGalley ARCs

3. I always appreciate honest reviews here on GR and Amazon and NG etc. I try to be balanced and honest in my reviews and don't ever want to feel like I am only a shill on NG or other review sites. I'm also a huge bionerd (bioengineer irl) and gamer/comic book geek, so a lot of my book reviews tend to be comics/graphic novels, geeky stuff, fantasy or SF. I also review a fair bit of nonfiction, like arts and crafts and science-y stuff.

Chris From RecipesNow! (recipesnow) | 2 comments I review for RecipesNow! The Reviews and Recipes Magazine at:

http://RecipesNow.com

I review cookbooks and food/kitchen related books for the site (I have a morbid fascination with recipes).

It would be awesome to get into reviewing fiction too but have never reviewed anything but nonfiction and am not sure where to start. If anyone has tips I would be grateful.

I can be pretty snarky, but I will read anything and I enjoy all kinds of books.

Sandy *The world could end while I was reading and I would never notice* (sandyj21) | 418 comments My blog is http://www.sandysbookaday.wordpress.com

I do book reviews of what I am currently reading plus old and not so old favorites.

I will read almost anything, but mainly crime, police-procedural, murder- mystery- suspense, family-drama/ saga, and children's books. I really would like to get into proof reading as a career.

2) I review books, interview authors, do bookish memes, share my original writing, and journal about my experiences with Depression and being a Muslim.

3) I love the beautiful, lyrical style of writing. I Hugely appreciate dark books, and stories that discuss topics that the society consider to be taboo.

I read anything except for erotica.

message 34: by Sahitya (new)

Sahitya (ksahitya) 1. My blog is called My World of Books

2. I mostly do review posts only, with some interesting Tags and Meme posts.

3. I only started this blog a few months ago and I am still figuring out my style of writing, so it does feel like my writing is boring most of the time. I am also not well versed at discussing the plot and writing style and other nuances etc so I mostly keep my views restricted to my opinion about the characters.
