Book Review: Men Without Women

A new Murakami book is a day to mark on the calendar if you also love the way he writes. This book -- a collection of seven short stories -- is worthy but not a must read. The men-women themes feature loneliness, and unexplained or unknowable loss. The stronger stories end too soon, and one-two are not up to his usual brilliance, leaving the collection short of a classic.
