Overall winner this year was The Girl of Ink and Stars - Anyone read it? Thoughts?

Other books shortlisted were:
Wolf Hollow
Beetle Boy
Time Travelling with a Hamster
Captain Pug: The Dog Who Sailed the Seas

Has anyone read any/all of these? And would anyone recommend any of them?

Beth Bennett | 11 comments I have read Cogheart and Time Travelling with my Hamster. Would recommend both. Different from each other but both well worth it. Would use both as class readers. Got Girl of Ink and Stars on to read list.

I haven't read Cogheart, but I've seen it in my school's new library. It might become my lunchtime read next half term.
