Did you ever suspect that Paul Mazetti's murder was more than a random shooting? Were you surprised to learn that Silas was behind it?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 818 comments I always suspected that Paul's murder was more than a random crime. Yes, I was surprised that Silas was behind it. I was devastated that he was a baddie in the last book and to find out he was such a monster this time was bad.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1379 comments It seemed to me at the beginning that the nervous killer was under someone's control, whether for drugs or something. I did not see the connections directly, but it was not a shock.

From the very beginning, I did not believe Paul's murder to be a random act, especially because his son was also murdered. And, I believed Silas had something to do with it once his sordid situation was revealed. Not shocked at all.
