We learn early on who's behind the attempts on Stevie's life. Would you have preferred to have tried to deduce Robinette's identity or was it a better reading experience having his point of view throughout?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 817 comments I hated Robinette and would have much preferred not to be privy to his point of view. He was a nasty SOB. I kept trying to believe that there was something more going on. I didn't like knowing from the beginning he was the baddie.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1379 comments I think Robinette was such a nasty character with so many layers of evil that it took a lot to uncover his SOB-ness, Anita. That left the rest of the book for the other parts of the story, which was stalled badly for me by about page 400.

I liked getting his sick point of view because it helped me figure out if the police were on the right track. And, we got the perspectives of his minions.
