5.6 - Find Wisdom
The Hagia Sophia is the Place of Holy Wisdom as "Sophia" means wisdom in Greek. Read a book with the name Sophia or a related name found in Behind the Name - Sophia in the title, subtitle or author's name. Name variations are limited to those found at the link, ex. Sofie, Sofia, Sonia. The name may be found in any author name position. Possessive forms in the title/subtitle work as in Sophie's Choice. Diacritical marks may be ignored. One qualifying author in a work by multiple contributors work.

Does the author Sophocles work?

The male variant at the bottom of the page, 'sophos' is the beginning root of sopho-[cle]-s. It keeps the definition 'sophos = wisdom' true as Sophocles means "glorious wisdom". Kles/cles = glory.
Thank you. CELESTE.
