Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) As stated above, I plan on reading at least fifteen books this year, hopefully more! I tend to read YA and non-fiction, but I do like fiction, as well as fantasy and horror. I've already read a few books, which I will put in the comments below!

I also write reviews for everything I read! So, if you're ever interested about my thoughts on a book in this thread, just look on my profile at the reviews I've written for them. They won't be that in-depth or anything, usually, but they're just my general feelings on a book, if you're ever curious. :)

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 1. A Game of Thrones by George. R.R. Martin

Finished Reading: 10 April 2017

Rating: 2/5

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 2. The Young Elites by Marie Lu

Finished Reading: 3 May 2017

Rating: 5/5

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 3. A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin

Finished Reading: 3 May 2017

Rating: 2/5

(Note: I got through about 70 pages of it, I think, before I stopped reading. Just couldn't really get into it. I count it as finished because if I had to suffer through one and a little bit of Martin's horrible writing... I think I deserve this much.)

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 4. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Finished Reading: 14 May 2017

Rating: 4/5

(Note: I actually did read The Half-Blood Prince this year, but it's been long enough where I don't remember my specific reasons for liking it, and my specific thoughts on it...and if I can't write a review, then I don't count it, lol.)

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 5. The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

Finished Reading: 17 May 2017

Rating: 4/5

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 6. The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

Rating: 5/5

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 12. The Life of Pi by Yann Martel

Finished Reading: 21 June 2017

Rating: 3/5

(Note: I actually only got halfway through the book before I had to stop reading; dunno what it was, but I couldn't finish it. However, I figured since I got through half of it, that should be close enough...)

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 13. The Rose Society by Marie Lu

Finished Reading: 15 July 2017

Rating: 5/5

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 14. Ramona Blue by Julie Murphy

Finished Reading: 16 July 2017

Rating: 4/5

(Note: Well, technically, it was a few minutes into 17 July, but screw it, I'm still awake, so it's still considered the 16th. No matter what Goodreads says, lol.)

You might like it, though!! But I personally didn't, lol. However, if you're going into it thinking it was going to have the same atmosphere and horror feel like The Shining did, you are going to be disappointed, in my opinion.

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 18. Fragments of the Lost by Megan Miranda

Finished Reading: 27 December 2017

Rating: 4/5

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) 19. The Social Code by Sadie Hayes

Kait | sixcrowsbooks (sixcrowsbooks) And that's it for my Goodreads Reading Challenge of 2017! I'm glad I was able to accomplish it; not only did I read to my goal, I read over!

I'm excited to see what 2018 will bring. :)
