My husband dismantled all of my bookshelves like 2 weeks ago and took them down into the garage. He's building me new bookshelves that are built into the wall....so all of my books (ALL of my books, can you just picture it?! LOL) are in piles on the floor in my formal dining room.

It's stressing me out a bit, lol, and making me really reluctant to read :( I hate it, it's kicking me into a definite "not reading" slump and I'm trying to fight it but...I can't even CLEAN THE FLOOR in that dining room right now. UGH .... ANYWAY, I really am going to aim to catch up. I'm getting caught up on the graduation prep stuff and camp stuff so I'll have more time to read :)

No worries! OMG I'd be stressed out! My husband sometimes just moves my piles of books and he'll tell me where but that stresses me out too. Lol I don't keep my library books on my bookshelves and I keep my reading & soon to start books in specific places. Then when he decides to "organize" my books get included. lol

I'll start this one soon, maybe Saturday.

do you think it was Owen that Betty was found out in a truck with? Right now, with his aunt being the former chief of police,
it makes me nervous that he could have done something and be getting away with it. I hope not though......I want to like Owen (hide spoiler)]

Serena(view spoiler)[ I'm not sure what to think of her. she seems to be pushing Finley into making some pretty bad decisions. (hide spoiler)]

Betty(view spoiler)[ I have no idea what has happened to her. She seemed really adrift. I wonder why she was lying to Finley so much. THAT is the one thing that seems to point towards Betty hurting herself.
she'd made all these plans and promises with Finley and even said she was in a play but none of it was true. What was she going to do when school ended and they were supposed to go to college together? (hide spoiler)]

Calder(view spoiler)[ that was frightening when he sat with her. why would he do that? he has to know that she thinks he hurt Betty.

Owen(view spoiler)[ that drug deal with the guy in the hut. what is wrong with this guy? and who was he with? If Betty is a late night roamer, she may have found these guys. Maybe they didn't want her to...... I don't know. There is a lot of weird stuff going on (hide spoiler)]

Serena(view spoiler)[ they just seem to be getting more twisted and odd. I also think it's weird that Serena doesn't seem to hang around or be friends with anyone else.

Rumor(view spoiler)[ so she was trying to hire someone to kill her? Why won't anyone explain to Finley what she was missing? How was Betty when she was gone? What was going on?

Serena(view spoiler)[ I don't think their relationship/messing around is healthy at all. They seem to be using each other - like they are still each trying to hold a party of Betty by holding onto each other.

Finley(view spoiler)[ she was reckless and wild while in town. she's lucky she made it out alive. but I"m glad she did - that's definitely an ending I wanted
I did love how flawed and dark she was but also how deeply loyal. she was the only one fighting for her friend (or so it seemed). (hide spoiler)]

Serena(view spoiler)[ I think I disliked her as much as I disliked Calder. I knew she was using Finley but I had no idea what she'd done to Betty and then to manipulate Finley. horrible (hide spoiler)]
Caroline(view spoiler)[ she had an awful role to play too. awful that she was so mad at Betty. but it's not like anyone was comparing notes and making connections to know that Betty was really spiraling out of control (hide spoiler)]
