I just requested this one from the library so hopefully I can start soon. I haven't read any of her YA yet, but her two contemporary fiction books were awesome. Attachments is one of my favorite books ever.

(view spoiler)[I want to know who killed Baz's mom! I'm wondering if this whole Humdrum person was made up. Seems like that could be something that's going on. The only thing that's really bugging me right now with the book is the spells! They seem silly, the way they work. Maybe that's just the lover of Harry Potter in me though. (hide spoiler)]

but I'm glad for a happy ending. I do see why some people think its similar to Harry Potter. I kind of saw the mage twist coming though so that part I didn't like. I'm not sure how I'm going to rate this yet,

Chapter 15

I'm liking this one! It took me a while to get into because (view spoiler)[ it felt like we jumped into book two of a series, and that made everything a little odd. (hide spoiler)]

I am wondering where (view spoiler)[Baz is. Apparently this isn't normal. Maybe he was kidnapped by the villain? (hide spoiler)]

I did like it but I think Fangirl is still my favorite. :)
