I nominate The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. I have only heard good things about this book.

I wanted to nominate the Left hand of Darkness by Ursala K. Le Guin but then I was going through books and found myself really excited to re-read The Gunslinger by Steven King. Can I nominate two? Pretty Please!!
