Here you can nominate any word that is proudly South African for us to read in September.

Then we take the word we voted on and read a book starting with a letter in the word, or a author's name/surname that starts with the letter.

For example:

Z -
U - Uglies
L - Lover Eternal
U -

Nominations will be open until the 10th of August.

I nominate WELLUS which I always thought ment lust but after looking it up in my trusty Afrikaans dictionary, I've found out it also means bliss, delight and sensual pleasure. Sounds good to me ;)

Like it! I will open a thread where we can post our results and intents soon :)

Mine looks a bit like this:
S - Seventh scroll - Wilbur Smith (BOM)
W - Ward, JR - Lover Unbound
A - Artemis Fowl
K - Ken Follet - Pillars of the earth (BOM)

The book of the months work out nicely :)
