Hi there librarians. I hope I've posted this in the right category, and thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me. When I search for my book's title on Goodreads, two separate listings appear. Both have as their title, and correctly so: THE NINJA LIBRARIANS: THE ACCIDENTAL KEYHAND. One shows my cover. One just has a Goodreads Icon. One is listed as coming out in 2014 (correct), the other lists it as coming out in 2015 (incorrect). My reviews seem to be split between the two listings. I would like all my reviews to be in one place, as its affecting my overall rating. : ) and a bit confusing for wayfarers. There is a THIRD LISTING for a forthcoming book called THE NINJA LIBRARIANS: SWORD IN THE STACKS. That one is fine the way it is. Combined. Looks like someone else fixed the pub date issue.
BTW, the problem is that your books keep being imported under "Jen Swann Downey" instead of the name you've claimed on Goodreads, "Jennifer Swann Downey". Since the cover of your book uses Jen, Goodreads policy is that your profile should match (to prevent situations just like this).
Ah, Thank you for alerting me to that issue! I had no idea that was gumming up the works. I'll change my profile to match. Thank you very much for the fix.
Hi z-squared, I did try to change my profile, but don't have Librarian Status. I applied, explaining the limited purpose of my request. Would it easier or better for the system to just have you or another librarian make the change?
i posted to the employee thread asking for the change. librarians can't make a change to claimed author profiles.
