This is a great group. I myself also read a lot of YA like you, and lots of other people in this group do too. The people here are very friendly and the book talks real fun.
If you don't know something about posting in a buddy read please feel free to ask. I myself have asked a lot of things when I first joined! :)

I'm really enjoying it so far! I love Kaz so much! And Inej! And both of them together! Can't wait to meet the rest of the crew :)

I'm about 20% through and just like you Annabeth, I love Kaz and Inej and especially both of them together.
"treasure of my heart" and "have a long trip down" - these two are awesome!
I love the witty dialogues and the "internal musings" (after all it's not everyday that one feels like blushing one minute and committing murder the next! :)).

halfway through and it is great! it's very hard to put down and what I love about it most is the way the relationships between the crew members develop.

(view spoiler)[Share your feelings. And the best part about it I think is that everyone else around them seems to know that Kaz loves Inej, except Kaz and Inej. It's driving me crazy sometimes. And the other two Matthias and Nina are nothing less. The big bad soldier pretends so badly to hate the witch when he is all the time checking her out and worrying about her. And she spent so much time trying to get him out of prison after which she constantly thinks about her lips on his while at the same time hating him for being a druskelle! Do you like that couple? As you finish by today are you up for the next in the series? I want to go on with it. Don't want to spoil but its end requires me to read the second book also.

Ok let's be a little more grown-up, I loved the magic system here, I didn't read the Grisha trilogy but I'm assuming it is presented in more detail there? Would be interested to read more about it. I think the characters were all very complex, everyone has their own unique motives and interesting backstories I really enjoyed reading, yet they all grow together as a crew and come to care for each other and I love that! Kaz's genius plans also always stunned me. (hide spoiler)]

The best part of the story for me was how the relationship between the crew started and went deeper, how their feelings for each other evolved and how natural it all seemed. I loved that. And the way their inner fears were described and how each of them tried to overcome them. But then I'm all about books with feelings.
The action was great also as well as the genius plans and the funky talk. Oh, and don't let me start on the magic cause that's to die for.
By the way, it's more fun to comment when you're not all grown up! That's actually the best way to do it. :D (hide spoiler)]

There is a Grisha trilogy? I have to check that out because i think I'd like to read it also.
