Is anyone interested in sharing thoughts as you read? I'm only about 60 pages in but would enjoy chatting with others as I go.
I really enjoyed the first chapter (1.0). It reminded me of the humorous, emotive, insightful Paul Auster, I came to love in novels like Moon Palace and Brooklyn Follies.
I'm at Ch. 1.2 now and I think I'm starting to understand how the novel will be structured.
Spoiler Alert regarding Ch. 1.2 (view spoiler)[This must be the first alternate history, right? The name of his housekeeper is different, and Aunt Mildred is in Chicago. In Ch.1.1, she doesn't leave until he's older, and she leaves for Berkeley. (hide spoiler)]
