Werner | 240 comments Independent author David Wittlinger deserves a lot more recognition than he's gotten among action adventure fans --and fans of strong, action-oriented female protagonists in particular-- for his Brianna series, which burst on the scene with The Strong One (Brianna #1) by David Wittlinger in 2014, and continues with Brianna's Reprisal (Brianna #2) by David Wittlinger . Would-be readers need to be aware that this series has a lot of bad language, and some graphic sexual content because of the milieu it's set in, and the issues the author deals with. But none of this is gratuitous, and the core message is wholesome. My five-star reviews are here:

Thank you, Werner. The mention here is much appreciated.

I also have another book, Portal To Elysium that is in a different genre. A fictional examination of love and loss via modern urban fantasy with a quirky romance woven in. If that doesn't intrigue or confuse readers I don't know what will!

Several other projects in the works all vying for my attention but hope to have another book out this year.

Werner | 240 comments You're welcome, David! One of the main purposes of this group is to give people a forum for recommending worthy self-published and small press books that we've read, and these are certainly worthy. Be sure to give us a heads-up when you're next book comes out!

I didn't start a thread for Portal to Elysium because I haven't read it myself. But you certainly can start one if you want to!
