And while you're at it, would you mind taking the spoilers out of the book description? I suggest taking out everything after the first sentence of the second paragraph...TYIA!

Johnny Carruthers (johnnycarruthers) | 49 comments I hope I'm posting this in the right place. If not, could someone please point me to where I should be posting it? Thanks in advance.

This is currently one of the books I am reading:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

ISBN 1101988681 (ISBN13: 9781101988688)

But for some reason, Goodreads has kept shifting it over to this edition:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

ISBN139781447256274

At the moment, my "Currently Reading" page Shows that I am reading both editions, when I am reading the Roc edition (green cover), and the updates are split between the two versions. Can someone please combine all of my updates to the Roc edition? Thanks again.

Those two editions are already combined; you just have more than one edition on your personal shelves. Moving updates from one edition to another may not be possible at all, but it's certainly not something Goodreads Librarians can help you with. You may wish to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.

Johnny Carruthers (johnnycarruthers) | 49 comments Thanks, Rivka. Any idea how I could have ended up with two different editions on my shelves? I was under the impression that this wasn't possible.

lethe | 13732 comments Oh yes, it's very easy to add different editions to your shelves. If you click on 'Review this edition' on the book page of another edition, that one is shelved as well as the edition you already had. (If you click on 'Switch to this edition', your shelved edition will be replaced with the new one.)

Sana (sanashams) | 76 comments Kindly combine these two editions. (I added another by mistake but there would be a Kindle edition anyway).

Codex | 3401 comments #19: It appears you created both editions, with no ISBN/ASIN. Both show an expected publication date of 2019. . . .

Can you provide the source confirming the future (2019) publication of the Kindle edition?

Yes, because it was only announced yesterday on Publisher's Weekly here.

It is common to add upcoming books and people add them on shelves, lists and everything.

There's no ASIN as yet because the release date is in 2019, it will be further down the line. But you can delete just the Kindle edition then, thanks.

Codex | 3401 comments #21: Kindle edition merged with hardcover, since there is no indication that it will be released by Amazon.

I thought I had clicked on "Switch To This Edition." That is what makes it most irritating.
