I can't. I am very serious about my series. OCD even:)

Most of them I am - but with this series, they are a different story each time. And I understand about the character growth, but it doesn't seem as important to me as others that you HAVE to read in order to understand them :) But that said, I AM trying to read them in order, and I'm yet to make a decision about reading this one for February ;)

I'm in the same boat Brenda, having read a few odd ones years ago that I picked up at second hand stores, but then last year I started again at Book 1 and want to read them in order. So I'm also not sure whether I'll join this challenge - maybe if I get my other challenges up to date.

It's a hard one - but we have at least three weeks to work it out!

Is ANYONE reading this book this month?? I'm hoping those who voted for it are as it polled well :)

message 18: by Kerri_M (new)

Kerri_M | 651 comments Didn't vote for this one, and wont be reading, because it is #20 in a series that I haven't started, and my OCD would kick in big time if I started the series at 20!

LOL! There were a lot of votes for it...

message 20: by Cameron (new) - added it

Cameron Wiggins I read the book. It was an excellent book. I recommend it to all who voted it in. It really does not matter where in the series this book falls. It does not affect the reader's experience of the series. And, let's face it, with 28 or so Bosch books out there, you kind of know that he will live to fight another day. ; )

Very true Cameron!

Jenny (diggensjenny) | 433 comments I have read The Crossing, and I enjoy it. I agree with Cameron you can read the Harry Bosch Series, not in sequence order. Michael Connelly did a fantastic job to allow readers to pick up any of the books and enjoy this excellent series.
