Rod Horncastle Are there really NEW doors? Humans and spirituality really haven't evolved in 2000 years.

Jeremiah 6:16 - "Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein .'

message 5: by Rod (new)

Rod Horncastle Great verse Robert. I'll post it again just for fun:

Jeremiah 6:16
This is what the LORD says: "Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, 'No, that's not the road we want!'

I've watched many churches fail endlessly while desperately trying to open NEW doors to reach the masses with cool entertainment and secular concerns. The Gospel isn't OLD NEWS yet -- never will be.

Although some old ways... are just old. We have electricity now.

Amen Rod!

I too have seen many churches DIE for new ways! :-(
