Michelle | 2095 comments One book that I've been carrying over to the next month. The thing is with that one I know I have to be in the right frame of mind so for now it will just have to wait patiently

I've had book like those. Sometimes you just have to be in the mood.

Hope you enjoy your books.

Michelle | 2095 comments So far I have one series is this frustrating( full of angst and too many characters with their own storyline which is just alluded as well) but I also want to know how and what happens so I'm biting the bullet and reading the next 2 books so all my frustration, hopefully , is done in one go

Sounds like a good plan.

Michelle | 2095 comments Credo (Scars of the Wraiths, #3) by Nashoda Rose Take (Scars of the Wraiths, #4) by Nashoda Rose

I had these books on a shelf and used it an another group challenge for the year. I had so many problems with the first book and nothing was explained ( this is paranormal with scars and wraiths). Added to that I had so many characters and dynamics that never got explained either. Frustration was my constant companion throughout this read. But I thought I liked the characters the second books was going to be about so I continued. Same problem. Too much question with no real answers given.

Now one of my quirks if you will, is if I have all the books in the series I feel I must read them all. It must really be hellious or extremely bad for me to divorce so I stuck it out to book 4. Im glad to say it got better. Will I recommend it ? I don't know. I do know that the author is doing a rewrite at some point of the whole series. No date has been set for that. So I'll say maybe wait for that

You're doing lots of series reading this month. Good luck!

message 13: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 2095 comments Thanx Jonetta. Some of them are the same series but I'm only now getting to them Or I was waiting for both to come out before reading. I hate , with some authors, to wait for the next installment. T. M. Frazier tends to write one character's story over two books. Tymber Dalton sometimes has more than one book coming out in a month.

Michelle | 2095 comments Preppy The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part One (King, #5) by T.M. Frazier Preppy The Life and Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part Two (King, #6) by T.M. Frazier

This is one of those series that is unapologetic, rough, this is who and what I am so take it or f**ck off reads. I must say was looking forward to Preppy's story. Glad to say it didn't disappoint. What does is that there is a Part 3!!!!!

So while I'm in there world I might as well read All the Rage by T.M. Frazier . A standalone from the series.

Michelle | 2095 comments Fighting Silence (On the Ropes, #1) by Aly Martinez Fighting Shadows (On the Ropes, #2) by Aly Martinez

So I'm Just not a fan of reading books with sports playing a factor. So I would have skipped this book on that basis alone. Well I'm glad I did this buddy read.( although strictly speaking I didn't wait for my buddies to start it. )
I thought okay I have time and my other books aren't calling me yet. So start slowly and when the rest are ready really dig in. That never happened because this had me finishing it in one day. I'm now reading the second book with plans to finishing it off with the last in the series.

Michelle | 2095 comments On Dublin Street (On Dublin Street, #1) by Samantha Young
This was a BOTM. Read. And for the most part I liked it. But the heroine was wrapped up to tight that she frustrated me throughout the book. But I wanted to finish it. Loved some of the side characters so continuing on to the next book on the series

Quick read Paying Daddy's Debt by Alexa Riley , as usual Riley doesn't disappoint. I need a quick read and that's what this is with nothing required from me but enjoying insta love

I liked On Dublin Street and the next two books. Need to catch up in that series.

message 19: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 2095 comments You know me Jonetta I'll probably have a marathon read through the series. I liked the writing. I just had a problem with the main character. So I'm hoping the rest of the series is different but good

message 20: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 2095 comments So I've read a couple of books that called me or just came out this month.
Time Out of Mind (Suncoast Society, #43) by Tymber Dalton Happy Valenkink's Day (Suncoast Society, #44) by Tymber Dalton
I have followed this series from the beginning. As usual it is what it is. A story about ordinary people that are into kink. And the second one a get together of all the usual suspects and a catch up of where they are in their lives.
Dirty Love (Forbidden Bodyguards, #3) by Ainsley Booth forgot about this one coming out this month. I don't know how I feel about this book. I gave it 4 stars . The writing was okay, the storyline was okay and that's the problem. It's was just okay. I'd still recommend it if you ask me about it. It is a standalone but part of a series.
Until Fountain Bridge (On Dublin Street, #1.5) by Samantha Young . Characters that I met Earlier this month and so now I have a new series to dive into.
So on that theme of meeting characters in a book I continue on to reading about them in their own story. Among the Echoes (Wrecked and Ruined, #2.5) by Aly Martinez

message 21: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 2095 comments I'm so glad I read Among the Echoes (Wrecked and Ruined, #2.5) by Aly Martinez
I met this couple in another series and found out they have their own book. I had to read it . I loved this book.and what was just as nice was that it could really be read as a standalone book. So I'm not curious about any one else's story. Well actually one other person and that also because he was in the original series I started with.

message 22: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 2095 comments So I have books I've got on my monthly list yet I just don't feel like reading it yet. But something else keeps catching my eye.
I, Porn Star I have this down as a book in a challenge, so it's got to be read some time this year , seems that time is now. Fingers crossed it doesn't suck ...

message 23: by Michelle (last edited Feb 27, 2017 02:13AM) (new)

Michelle | 2095 comments Just as I start I, porn star i find a few to do buddy read so that's waiting for next month so everyone can start together .
So I continued with On Dublin street series.
Castle Hill (On Dublin Street, #3.5) by Samantha Young An On Dublin Street Halloween (On Dublin Street, #1.2) by Samantha Young Before Jamaica Lane (On Dublin Street, #3) by Samantha Young
The only thing that is frustrating about hese books is that it's one POV. I found myself , especially with Jamaica lane wanted to hear from the H. Also I really felt that Liv was me brought to life on the page. I really had a great connection to her.

Now on to the new month of challenges and reads.
