Please replace book cover

I added the wrong version of the book cover when adding this book and would like to replace it. The edit page is telling me that only a librarian can delete the cover image; do my editing privileges as the author expire after a certain amount of time? (I realized the problem moments after creating another book and was able to edit and replace the cover on that book.)

Fixed. (What was the difference, just the extra black border at the top and bottom?)

Authors have limited ability to edit their own books.

No, not a time expiration. A very longstanding issue with goodreads members and database wanting to keep the editions/bookcovers they already bought, shelved, etc. (just like a library) versus many authors wanting to delete all covers except the currently available for sale on bookseller product pages.

It's not you and not this instance of cover change. So common it made it into the author FAQs at top of these discussions at https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... .

Escalated with how easy cover changes have become for self-published authors (just upload to book seller sites vs. obtaining new isbn, do a new print run, re-distribute to brick and mortar stores, ...)

I have heard of that issue and would not ask for the cover in Goodreads to be changed if I changed the book's cover, but that doesn't explain why I was able to delete one book cover and not the other. Obviously there is some sort of time limit involved.
