Toni Morrison is one of the most important American writers, and sadly I've only read one novel by her. So I figured it is time to read more!
In February, I've chosen her second novel, Sula, and I'm looking forward to reading and discussing it with all of you. It's under 200 pages, so I hope that's more doable than my January pick, which I actually gave up on. #oops
Anyway, I think this will be a great conversation and timely too since February is Black History Month here in the U.S.
Happy reading! And as always, be conscious of spoilers. You can post them, but give warning in your comment for those who haven't read as far as you or finished the novel yet. Thanks :)
i always look forward to the uncovered announcements! i read beloved and thought it was great! and I've been wanting to read another Morrison for ages!
