Baseball book reading plans for 2017

I'm thinking about revisiting "Watching baseball smarter" by Zack Hample.
Any better suggestions for this type of book (not a memoir)

There are two that come to mind - one, Tim McCarver's Baseball for Brain Surgeons and Other Fans: Understanding and Interpreting the Game So You Can Watch It Like a Pro, is good for fans who are familiar with the game. Another good one is How to Watch Baseball: A Fan's Guide to Savoring the Fine Points of the Game

For my books, I have been provided a lot of baseball books for my blog on sports books. Right now I am working on two books involving the Dodgers: Seinsoth: The Rough-And-Tumble Life of a Dodger and City of Dreams: Dodger Stadium and the Birth of Modern Los Angeles. Also on my soon-to-read list are Making My Pitch: A Woman's Baseball Odyssey, One Nation Under Baseball: How the 1960s Collided with the National Pastime and Urban Shocker: Silent Hero of Baseball’s Golden Age

I am reading two Chicago baseball books this month: The Cubs Way: The Zen of Building the Best Team in Baseball and Breaking the Curse and Say It's So: The Chicago White Sox's Magical Season.

I just started to read Matty: An American Hero by Ray Robinson.

I finally found McCarver's book.

Just seeing your older posts. I've been looking for anything about the White Sox 2005 season. Seems everyone talks about the Red Sox and the Cubs breaking their long droughts but people forget the White Sox did that too.
