Antony Millen | 31 comments I need some help adding new editions of this and one other book which I'll create a separate thread for. I may have been mistaken in creating a new entry for this, so that may need deleting.

I have published a second edition with a new ISBN and new cover and some revised content. If I can only have one cover on Goodreads, I want the new ones. Here's the general info required:

* Title: Redeeming Brother Murrihy: The River to Hiruharama
* Author(s) name(s): Antony Millen
* ISBN (or ASIN): B01N7VUTOT
* Publisher: Maple Koru Publishing
* Publication date: 24 January 2017
* Format: Kindle
* Description:

Conrad Murrihy’s mother is dying and she has one final wish: to see her eldest son, Francis, who has not contacted home in two years. Conrad reluctantly leaves his home in Nova Scotia, Canada in a race to find his brother.

Francis Murrihy seems just as determined to avoid detection. As Conrad’s search leads him deeper into the heart of New Zealand, he discovers his brother has been living multiple lives as a Catholic religious, a spoken-word poet, a suspected criminal, and a new kind of prophet for local Māori.

Conrad’s encounters with the people, places, and spirits of New Zealand force him to confront issues in his own life in this story of reconciliation and redemption.

Redeeming Brother Murrihy explores the complex spiritual fabric of New Zealand while still telling the simple story of a man trying to mend his family.

"A highly successful first novel ... a quest for self-discovery and redemption written by someone who has a deep understanding of what stirs the spirit." - Christodoulos Moisa, The River City Press

Far from it, Goodreads aims to keep all published covers.

I can't add the ASIN though, it tells me that "Asin is taken by an existing book with the title "Redeeming Brother Murrihy: The River to Hiruharama"", but I can't find it on the three other editions. I'll contact support about it.

Antony Millen | 31 comments Thanks very much, Ayshe. I've added the ISBN, but yes, it would be good to add the ASIN if we could.

Ayshe | 3046 comments I removed the ISBN, it's Kindle edition - it should have only ASIN.

Support has replied that their engineers are aware of this issue and are working on a fix. No firm date for the fix right now, but they'll check back in when they have one.

Antony Millen | 31 comments Hi again, Ayshe:

Someone must have done something because the edition with the ASIN is now showing, complete with cover, but now I have two of this on Goodreads. Can you see what I mean?

One is here, combined with the originals: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

The one with the ASIN is not combined: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Help?

Thanks!

Ayshe | 3046 comments Yes, I definitely see it. I asked support whether it can be combined and the one I created deleted.

Ayshe | 3046 comments They have combined it and deleted the edition created by me, but site is currently experiencing unusually high traffic, so some functions have been running a bit slower than usual.

That's why the duplicate Kindle edition may take a bit longer than expected to be removed from the page. But it definitely has been queued for deletion, and will be updated as soon as the servers go back to normal.

Antony Millen | 31 comments Terrific!

Now, if you could just tell me how I can nominate you as the best Goodreads librarian on the site!
