Kelly Hogan | 5 comments I added in my book, which worked great. When I added my book in Amazon for sale, it automatically created an extra title for the same book in Goodreads.

The title I added is: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

The title Amazon added is: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Can these be combined? The one that amazon added isn't even in my book listing in my author profile, so this one should be removed I think.
Thanks!

Melanie (mvalente89) | 1764 comments Moved the edition to your profile and combined with the one you added. There is no ASIN on the edition you added which is why Amazon imported the other edition.

E-books on Amazon are added as Kindle editions and not e-books. Is the e-book available anywhere else or only on Amazon? If it's only on Amazon, we can merge the two editions.

Kelly Hogan | 5 comments I have it on Amazon as well as Kobo but got confused on the ASIN or ISBN

Melanie (mvalente89) | 1764 comments Ok, since it's available as an e-book on Kobo, we'll leave it as two listings. Is there an ISBN that goes with the non-Amazon e-book edition?

Also, forgot to mention above I created a series page for the Off Limits series. https://www.goodreads.com/series/1979...

Kelly Hogan | 5 comments I checked Kobo and this is what they have as an ISBN :1230001508338. I added it to the book but it came up as a 'check in case this is an error' message, so I'm not sure it is right? Your help is so appreciated!

Melanie (mvalente89) | 1764 comments That's a Kobo unique identifier rather than an ISBN, so I think the system assumes its incorrect since it doesn't start with 978 and that's why you got that error message.

Kelly Hogan | 5 comments Thanks for clarifying - it can be so confusing :)

Kelly Hogan | 5 comments One final question then - how do I link directly from the goodreads page to kobo and kindle? The links take them to the site but not the book straight away so the person would have to search around for the book. Thanks again!

Melanie (mvalente89) | 1764 comments If you're on the Kindle edition, the Amazon button takes you directly to the book page.

Kobo I believe always searches by title, so I don't think there is a way to go directly to the book page.

Paula (paulaan) | 7027 comments Kobo Id numbers are permitted in the ISBN field along with BNID and ISBN13 number.

Ignore the error message, the link now works
