The Dinner is about two families dealing with the aftermath of a scandal.

We Were the Mulvaneys is about a family going to pieces after a traumatic event.

I don't consider it polite. It invades someone's personal "space" IMO.

It isn't a "chat" thread. It's a "looking for" thread.

Well I think for most people posting here the answer is just going to be "because I find it interesting/want to read more on this topic", and if it's not that then it's likely to be a personal reason which is nobody else's business.

Moloch | 276 comments I recommend The Viceroys, it's a classic of Italian literature from the 19th century and it's about a noble Sicilian family. Plenty of quarrels and tensions. It's a very grim book.

I just kept on imagining going after some of my more annoying family members like some of these paras do. They get scrappy frequently!
