Yeah, I don't know. Maybe it's simply because (view spoiler)[ the poisoners can send poisoned food, drinks and other products to the queens they want to kill. They can deliver the products through suitors or other hired people. Maybe naturalists and elementals have to be close enough to their sisters to kill them, whereas poisoners can kill from a distance. (hide spoiler)]
