I write in a different YA genre than most other authors. My published novel "Bridgetown High" is partly historic (set in 1965), partly mystery, partly suspense, partly romance.
Great question, Ramon. I write YA Fantasy. I include some romance, but can't call it a Romance novel.
Well, so far it seems that people mix different genres within a main YA genre; I personally keep my two genres strictly apart.I am curious about what other authors will come up with.
I write YA fantasy - my novels (not yet published) - are secondary world, courtly intrigue with adventure and (sometimes) romantic elements - or maybe could be seen as family saga. My short stories and novella (Heart of the Mountain) are set in the same world (though not always the same culture/place/time). I've also written a flash fiction that's sci-fi (not specifically YA though).
My YA trilogy comes under techno-crime thriller. Essentially sci-fi (i.e. pushing the boundaries of current scientific technologies), it's written as contemporary fiction set in Brisbane, Australia.
Paranormal/supernatural based in Native American mythology. "Evil Awakened" will be released in the spring of 2017. I'll provide more details (book cover, sample chapters, & giveaways beginning in the new year.
I write predominantly Paranormal/Urban Fantasy with hints of sci-fi. Angels and demons and gene therapy and time travel. That sort of thing.
I write YA with several mixed genres included such as gothic, thriller noir, mystery, suspense, paranormal, urban fantasy/speculative fiction, dystopian, steampunk, cozy mystery, coming of age, multiracial, multilingual, multicultural just to name some.
I write YA/Epic fantasy: Stories that take place in another universe, where I can build by own world with its own rules.
I write YA fantasy mixed with a little romance, but mostly adventure. My first triolgy, The Sun Angel, is obviously about angels. My next series will be more grounded but with the fantasy element still being the root of my creation.
Primarily YA high-fantasy. But I eventually want to try steampunk. Also, I have an epic Arthurian series I plan on trying in a year or so.
I write in different genres. It depends on what I feel like writing, but generally my stories will have romance to some degree. I just finished a series that was high fantasy, action/adventure and romance and right now I'm working three different projects - one on realistic fiction/romance, one paranormal romance and one low fantasy with side character romance :)
Visionary & Metaphysical. How's that for a mouthful? I found it hard to find the right category until I came across this one. It works well for the content of my book.
I most of the times write YA Romance and have tried my hand at historical as well but my main focus is Romance.
I write YA and NA dystopian and YA paranormal romance. I love superhuman characters, so I tend to incorporate a supernatural/paranormal element in all my books.
Right now, I'm doing upper-YA paranormal (superhero-themed), but I'll be starting a contemporary YA novella series sometime next year. I also write NA fantasy-romance and contemporary (adult) romance.
While I have written contemporary fiction in the past (short stories mostly) my novels tend to be fantasy (both epic and urban). As a reader I was always fascinated with world building so I think I was inevitably drawn to the fantasy genre when I started writing.

I personally write Romance and Science Fiction.
My work is mainly in Spanish, though some of my SciFi novellas have also been published in English.
