Oh dear Suam, please don't cryJust give being cheeky a try
Pretend you don't care
And smooth down your hair
You're safe here, with CB and I

Well done Jane.
**accepts Kleenex from Dwayne** Thank you, Dwayne. You're such a gentleman.**loudly honks into tissue** Oh, look, a flock of Canadian geese just landed in my backyard. Thanks for sending them, Jane. ; P
LOL! Speaking of hair, we have forced hot air here and during the winter I need to go heavy on the hand cream and hair conditioner. Some winters, like this one, it's not enough. I rather resemble Albert Einstein... without the mustache. ; P
Nah. I have never looked at your picture before, but I just did. You're much prettier than Einstein.

LOL then we must be twins, because with my hair regrowing in fuzzy curls that lift up and wont stay down on top of my head, I don't need dry air to look like Einstein...sometimes, I have to pluck out my whiskers as not to resemble him too much. YES I said whiskers, it feels better than to say mustache. :P
And glad to see you back online Sammy!
Is that what you mean by unmanageable hair? :P

Oh, we are doing poems now? Okay!
Happiness of Sam
The essence of glad return

Oh hey! It's my static mates! Dry air turns me into a skittish ball of electricity who is terrified of handshakes. ;)

Over a year ago I began experiencing daily headaches and shoulder pain. Several months ago I started having tingling, numbness, and pain in my hands and feet along with other uncomfortable symptoms that slowed my writing progress. The cause for most of these symptoms was a daily prescription medication that has since been changed. Before I figured this out myself, I asked my doctor if that was a possibility, but she said it wasn't. Then she sent me for several (ultimately unnecessary and useless) expensive tests that'll take me years to pay offUnfortunately, I still have pain in my hands due to lifelong bone health issues that have worsened with age. It's still winter here and we've had some very cold days with a lot of wind. Some days it hurts to hold my phone or a cup of coffee.
Sorry I haven't been on GR that much or as chatty as I was last summer. I'm hoping my pain will lessen as the weather improves. I'm also hoping to resume working on my books.
Thank you all for your understanding and for not kicking me out of the group. Hugs to All!!
Huge hug, Suam! Try all you want, we aren't going to fall for your reverse psychology and let you out of the dungeon... Um... I mean group. Yeah, that's what I meant. You are one of us, whether you like it or not, book or no book. And I think I speak for all of us when I say that your health and comfort comes first. Books can wait. They'll always be there.
But...
If there is ANYTHING we can do to help, let us know!
Awe, shucks, thanks, Christina! So nice to be accepted. Uhm, can I answer that question when I finish my YA paranormal romance? Cuz, that's when I'll be asking for opinions on my blurb and cover. S'okay? Please?
Me and Dog echo Christinaand CB. We do hope the warmer weather will come soon and help your bones.Remember we are all here for you.
Hugs and slooches
I'll echo Christina and CB...You won't get rid of us that easily! and Giant (but careful) hugs to you!
Of course, we'll be glad to help with blurb and cover opinions! :)
