I picked several prompts that I liked and then filled them to see what my choices were, and then picked one where I liked the combination of the prompt itself and how well the book fitted that prompt.

I chose a book written in first person and I just finished reading Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
Did you first pick the prompt and then a book that fit in, or was there a book you really wanted to add to your challenge and you looked for a prompt that fit?
The year is getting close to ending and I am far, far behind on my challenge. I don't mind too much because I'm not overly bothered by not being finished. However, I would like to be able to get a few more prompts finished before the year's end. So since I had been waiting to read John Green's new book, as well as a few others that were not originally in my plan, I went through my unfinished prompts to change it up a bit and see if I could fit these books in. First person is such an easy prompt to fit a book to! :)

I would need to sit and think about this. I love most of the prompts I've seen in the 2017 challenge (my first year trying this out) as well as the new 2018 challenge. There are a small few that I don't care for too much, but I'll make it work. I don't like things that become too overly complicated or abstract where it's impossible to find a book to fit it.
I also like to try my hardest to fit books already on my TBR shelf for the prompts, rather than searching for new books that I want to read. My TBR list is forever growing and I can't read fast enough to keep up. I don't need to find even more books, haha! I want to read up all these ones I've had on there for so long!
