Hey, Ed. We arrived at Oceanside just about an hour ago, and we've already been down to the beach and put our feet in the water. I reached down and put my hands in the surf and said, "hello, Pacific Ocean. I haven't seen you in a long time!"

We lived in Oceanside, San Diego, and Santa Ana when I was growing up. My daddy was a Marine.

I'm in San Diego as well and have started turning on a space heater in addition to cuddling up under multiple blankets while reading at night! We're so sensitive to anything other than 70 and sunny :D

LOL. We went snorkeling in La Jolla yesterday. Our guide kept telling us how cold the water was going to be this time of year. We kept waiting for it to GET cold. It was 57 degrees. Felt like a heat wave to us! It was 34 at home at the time.

Having a great time. Heading to the zoo today and then, depending on time, maybe to Belmont Park. We want to try the "Escape the Room" thing there.
