Rowan and Dante's Dorm

"Okay..." Rowan said quietly and moved to sit beside her. It felt like torture...but it was a good torture. She made him happy, even if this false happiness would kill him inside. He needed it, that's what he kept trying to believe.

Terra smiled and gently rubbed his shoulders to try and relax him. She then leans against him and rests her head against his shoulder. "I love you." She murmured softly, holding his hand and intertwining their fingers.

"I love you too," Rowan whispered and kissed her head as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze. He looked around them briefly and felt calmed by the fact that he'd subconsciously chosen one of their most special places. That made all this perfect. "I remember when we first went flying together... "

Terra chuckled a bit and smiled. "I whooped you butt racing you." She said, smirking a bit. "But then again, you made me brave enough to jump when I almost chickened out."

Rowan laughed better than he had in a while. "I let you win, okay? I'm way faster than you are," he told her jokingly. "I'm glad you jumped with me. It led to so many sky bound adventures."

Terra laughed at his joke. "Suuuure you are." She teased, smirking a bit. She smiled warmly and nodded. "It certainly did. And I loved every single one of them." She said and then grinned, standing up. "Let's have another. Right now."

"Right now?" Rowan asked, smiling up at her. He was sure he just wanted to relax right now, but who would pass up the chance? They could literally go anywhere he wanted...

Terra laughed and nodded, grabbing his hands and pulling him to his feet. "Yes! Come on! This is our own little world. We can do whatever we want! Go anywhere we want! It's... it's perfect." She said smiling warmly. "Let's go. Anywhere in the world you want. Let's do it."

"Anywhere in the universe even," Rowan said, smiling as he looked in her eyes. "So then what is someplace we've always wanted to see for real..."

Terra thought for a moment. "Hmm... I don't know. I have always wanted to see Paris at night. But anywhere you want is fine with me, as long as I'm with you." She said, smiling warmly.

"Paris at night....it's perfect," Rowan agreed. It was supposed to be a romantic place....but as they were, it would be far from awkward. It would actually be good like this.

Terra smiled and held his hand. "Let's go." She said, taking a few steps before rising into the air, ready to fly with him again for the first time in a long time.

Rowan followed suit, holding her hand like he was still afraid she would disappear. He wouldn't be able to handle that heartbreak in his dreams as much as real life. "Lead the way, beautiful."

Terra smiled, blushing faintly and flew with him up above the clouds, grinning at how puffy and beautiful they were in the moonlight. After a little while of Flying, she flew lower and they were in Paris, the Eiffel Tower all lite up and gorgeous. Music filled the air from a street performer. "It's amazing." She breathed softly.

"It definitely is," Rowan said, barely above a whisper. He looked around at all their surroundings and wondered if this was how it all really looked. This was technically just his imagination, right?

Terra smiled and leaned against him lovingly. "It's perfect...." She said softly and sighed, happy to have some time where everything was wonderful and she didn't have to worry about if she was hurting anyone or putting them in danger. She could just be with the man she loved and it was simple.

Rowan put his arm around her so they could walk together. He caught himself wishing it was real, but stopped and began telling himself it was as good as real. "Do you want to walk toward the tower? I know it's beautiful all lit up..."

Terra smiled and nodded. “I’d love that.” She said, walking with him towards the Tower. She rested her head against his shoulder as they walked and sighed softly in content. “I never understood the big hype about Paris at night. But they’re right. It’s so beautiful.” She said.

"Yeah. But maybe I'm just envisioning it this beautiful," Rowan said. "It's all my head, right? I want it to be perfect, therefore it is. But I'm glad...." He kissed her head again, so happy in the moment. The soft, warm lights that danced around were gorgeous and so romantic, he felt.

Terra frowned slightly but smiled, glad that at least he was happy for the first time in awhile. She was slightly worried about him becoming aware he could manipulate the world around them, but decided it might help him find comfort. “I’m glad too.” She murmured, kissing him lovingly.

Rowan smiled happily and kissed her back. This was definitely better than reality where all he seemed to do was screw up and suffer one way or another. He was definitely glad he'd decided to sleep instead of go back to his sister's. "Do you want to fly up to the viewing deck or take the elevator?"

Terra smiled softly. "The Elevator. Seems a bit romantic to do things the normal way, occasionally." She said, walking towards the elevator doors and pressing the button. She noticed the time and knew she'd have to leave to go to her test soon. But she couldn't leave Rowan while he was asleep. If she got him to go to Whitlea's party then she could do the test and be back before he went back to sleep. "So, are you going to go to Whitlea's party tonight?" She asked.

Rowan sighed at her question. "I really don't want to... I just know it will be full of all her couple friends, and I'll just be the little brother. Plus I get to watch her be happy with that guy," he said the word like a curse. "I just.... It would be different if you were there with me. But in reality, you hate me..."

Terra frowned softly and cupped his cheek. "I think you should go. It'll mean a lot to her. And I promise I'll still be here when you fall back asleep after the party." She said, smiling gently. "Please? if not for me then for Whitlea."

He sighed again and looked out at the scenery. "She only invited me because she feels guilty," he said distantly. "Guilty I'm feeling this way because she didn't stop her roommate from kissing me..... That's who it was, you know. Apparently it was just her roommate. But Leah doesn't understand that it really was my fault. It's my fault and I don't want her guilt trip."

Terra frowned and rested her head on his chest. "It's not your fault. It was just a misunderstanding. Whitlea's not guilt tripping, she's genuinely worried about you and misses having her fun sweet little brother around. I really think you need to go. And when it's over and you come back, you can tell me all about it." She said, smiling gently up at him.

"I wish you'd come with me..." Rowan said quietly, pulling her closer to him. "I don't like all this being alone stuff...but I don't want to be with anyone either." He sighed heavily. "But fine, I'll go...Just for you."

Terra smiled and kissed him gently. "Thank you.... and You can come back right after and I'll still be here." She promised, holding his hand and intertwining their fingers.

Rowan smiled back at her and pulled her off the elevator once it reached the top. There were a few couples already there, as to be expected.

Terra smiled and leaned against him. "It's amazing." She breathed softly.

Rowan wrapped his arm around her, holding her close. "Isn't it? I'm so glad we came," he said quietly and kissed her head.

Terra nodded and smiled softly. "Me too. Another wonderful adventure. Only with less peril." She said, chuckling slightly.

"I like that there's no peril. We've been through enough of that," Rowan said, laughing softly. "If we could just have a nice, calm date, that would be great."

Terra smirked a bit. "Well what do you call this?" She asked, forgetting that it was all a dream. It all felt so real, even to her.

"Hmm....I think I'll call it perfect," Rowan answered and gave her a soft kiss. "What do you think?"

Terra smiled and nodded in agreement. "Perfect." She agreed, kissing him lovingly and wrapping her arms around his neck loosely.

Rowan slid his arms around her waist and kissed her again. "You know...I wonder what it's like to jump off the eiffel tower~"

Terra's eyes widened. "Ummm excuse me? Jump off as in fly off or Jump off as in splat?" She asked, slightly nervous now.

"Jump off as in fly off. I don't intend to go splat at all," Rowan said. "Plus, I don't think we could really die. We're just in a dream, remember?"

Terra sighed softly and rolled her eyes. "Still, I don't like that kind of talk." She said but then smiled. "But flying sounds nice."

"I promise I don't want to go splat," he said and kissed her temple. "So what do you say we jump off the eiffel tower?"

Terra smiled a bit and held his hand. "I'd say bring it on. It sounds like fun." She said, grinning.

"Come on," Rowan smirked and pulled her to the railing before he hopped up to stand on it. He looked down at the ground with wide eyes. "This should be super fun," he said and reached down to help her up.

Terra grinned and stepped up with him, wobbling slightly and gulped. "Wow, it's higher than I thought." She murmured before looking at him and smiled softly. "Ready?"

Rowan slid his arm around her waist to steady her. "I'm ready," he replied, grinning excitedly. Flying with her almost seemed nostalgic in how much he loved to do it and didn't get to so much anymore.

Terra smiled and nodded excitedly. “One.... two.... three...” she counted, stepping off the Eiffel Tower tailing with him.

Rowan stepped off as well, starting to laugh like a crazy person as they free-fell for a bit. They had a lot of time before they were in any danger of hitting the ground.

Terra laughed along with Rowan as they fell and smirked, waiting till the absolute last minute before she pulled upward away from the ground.

Rowan also waited until the last second, making sure to keep a tight hold on her hand to make sure she pulled up too. "That was awesome!" he cheered.

Terra laughed and rolled her eyes, smiling at him as they flew and kissed Rowan lovingly.
