I really don't like Glass' chapters, they feel so removed from everything else. I don't understand what the point of including this is unless something big happens later on that needs a witness on the ship. But still, it feels like a more important perspective would have been more valuable to the story like the Chancellor or vice Chancellor. (hide spoiler)]

end of chapter 31 (view spoiler)[so immediately after that last comment something happened on the ship haha. but I still think they could have used someone else's perspective and given a different insight to the story instead of the romance aspect that was overplayed in Glass' chapters. Especially at the start when she was literally a fugitive but her whole plot seemed to focus on the romance. (hide spoiler)]

I rated it the same as last time I read it, I was kind of expecting to have a different view of it but apparently in my mind it is a solid 3 star book. I have a few issues with it that I kinda talked about in my review but I'm hoping that in the next books some of them will improve. I kind of wish that the flashbacks had been published as a 0.5 instead though and been fully fleshed out stories. both because they lacked that depth and also combined with the constantly changing point of view it really stopped me from getting a flow with the book

The 100, Chapter 8: (view spoiler)[ Okay..I am really enjoying the different POVs, especially Glass's as she is an interesting character to follow. Also, there seems to be an interesting subplot, which should make me feel more engaged to the story. (hide spoiler)]

The 100, Ending Thoughts: (view spoiler)[ This was entertaining and I enjoyed the plot twists in the story. The book seems to do more character building. However, there were times where I thought the story did not seem as engaging. Overall, I give it a 4/5 rating. (hide spoiler)]

I'm taking a bit longer with this because I'm moving house in a few days but so far I'm liking how the story is progressing. I find the writing a bit much at times, the end of each chapter is always done so dramatically even if we already know the information. Like at the end of chapter 6 it's phrased as if we didn't yet know about Clarke and Lilly from the past book and what had been mentioned already in that chapter.

Day 21, Chapter 12: (view spoiler)[ I think the story is really interesting and keeps getting better. The story is progressing well and I wonder what will happen to all the characters. Also, I hope Glass and Luke don't die. Their story is the subplot in this series. It makes things easier. (hide spoiler)]

end of chapter 18 (view spoiler)[I'm definitely enjoying this more than the first book. The pace is just as quick as the first but as I hoped is exploring what has been left on earth more than looking at the pasts of the characters. I'll probably finish the rest tomorrow but I'm very hesitant to stop reading where I'm at. Where is Clarke going to run to, what's going to happen to Sasha?
I'm growing to enjoy the changing perspectives more than in the first book. there were too many flashbacks and pov changes in the first but in this one it's easier to follow the changes because each character is doing something very different and there are less flashbacks. I'm loving the way the characters are developing and I really enjoy Sasha (hide spoiler)]

chapter 22 (view spoiler)[I don't understand why bellamy thought it was such a farfetched idea that Lilly would ask Clarke to help her die when in his own memory she says "I'd rather die than be a prisoner" like that kind of proves that she would have asked Clarke. I get he was emotional but why would it have taken him that long to realise Clarke was telling the truth? (hide spoiler)]

day 21 finished! (view spoiler)[I liked this one better than the first, this still gets a 3/5 because that's just how I feel about it haha. I didn't have as many problems with this one but it still just didn't grab me enough for a higher rating. I'm really interested in seeing more of the Earthborns and their settlement and hopefully there is less drama between them and the Colonists than in the show haha (hide spoiler)]

chapter 7 (view spoiler)[I'm glad that now that everyone is down we have Glass' perspective as a newcomer seeing all the progress the 100 have made in the monthish since they got there. I also loved that memory in chapter 5 with Glass and Wells saying all those things about what they thought earth was like! pet bears and skiing to the grocery store, what a life! (hide spoiler)]

I started off watching the TV show so of course I have a different perspective of it. I really love the show so reading the book kind of made me feel a certain way. Just finished as well. I think because I fell in love with the TV show, I'm more into them than the book. I did appreciate the differences though, and I do wish that they incorporated Glass and Thalia in the show, but I think I would have been really bummed to not get enough of Thalia to enjoy.

Also, I'm glad that we get to know more about Wells in this book, so I'm glad about that.
