Book Cover Switch

Hello Librarians,

I would like to make the main pages for my novel XODUS have the current cover. A while back, I asked for someone to switch it, and that person made the current cover the default page, but the preview and audio version of the book, as well as most of the lists it appears on, are still only linked to these pages with the old cover: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... and https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2.... I can't switch the covers myself because I'm not a librarian, but if someone could help me switch them, I would really appreciate it. I'm happy to send over the .jpg or .png file for changing it.

Librarians cannot set the default edition. Only you, as the author, can set the default edition — that is, the one that comes up in searches by title and shows on your author profile. Here's how to do that.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry, I may not have explained it well, but I don't want to set a default edition. I just want to switch the covers for the old editions, which I can't do on my end. It says only librarians can delete the cover image, which I have to do before I can upload the new cover.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition. See http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1... and http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/85....

As Dobby explained, you do have the ability to make the edition with the new cover the default edition.

Thanks for the reply, Rivka. That policy makes sense, and honestly, I don't mind keeping the old cover for alternate editions, but I would like for the preview and audio preview options, as well as all the lists which include the book, to show up on the page with the new cover (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...) that is currently set as the "primary edition." (I assume is the same as the default edition.) For some reason, even though it is set as the primary edition, it does not show the preview and audio preview options below the cover/option to rate the book that are shown on the page with the old cover here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2.... Also, most of the lists the book is a part of on Listopia only show up on this page. Is there a way to get these things to appear on the primary edition page with the new cover?
