Jo's Boys by Louisa May Alcott

GR synopsis:
Beginning ten years after Little Men, Jo’s Boys revisits Plumfield, the New England school still presided over by Jo and her husband, Professor Bhaer. Jo remains at the center of the tale, surrounded by her boys—including rebellious Dan, sailor Emil, and promising musician Nat—as they experience shipwreck and storm, disappointment and even murder.

I am starting to read this for my 2016 PopSugar Challenge, a book at least 100 years older than you. I LOVE Little Women and thought Little Men was pretty good sequel. I haven't read this one before, so I'm excited to continue on the story of Jo. She was always my favorite :)

Manda (bookwenchmanda) | 1094 comments I finished this yesterday and was a bit disappointed. It wasn't bad, but for me, it just didn't live up to the love I hold for it's predecessors. It's well written, but I found it boring for Alcott.
