I just got this is the mail yesterday; it's based on the exploits of Ivan Milat. Everything I've seen relating to this movie makes it sound as if they made a typical teen-horror-death-porn extravaganza out of the Backpacker Murders, but the dang thing also has gotten rave reviews, so I didn't know what to think and finally sent for a used copy.

I will report back when I know more.

If you are talking about the movie WOLF CREEK, I have seen it and the sequel. They are both quite gruesome and violent. Be prepared to be grossed out by the amount of blood in the movie.

Oh, nothing grosses me out! But others will want the warning... :)

I am about 50 minutes into the movie and I must say the bad guy sure resembles Milat. But watching makes me realize that I don't really know his story.

I've given this 2 tries and shut it off at 1:17 because it is just boring me to tears. It's just run-of-the-mill torture porn!
