steven | 7 comments I was trying to buy a stock photo for my book, all stock sites seems to demand me to get membership for month and more than one photo. Also most seems too expensive or not clear about how the license goes. Can someone recommend a site where I can buy a one stock photo for a reasonable price?

steven | 7 comments Thanks a lot, K.R I've used it too but it doesn't have what I need now. By the way who does the merging service and for how much?

K.R. Reese (authorkrreese) | 41 comments I haven't looked into any photo editing or merging services? I just do my own covers.

There's a whole thread dedicated to it.

C.L. Wells | 5 comments I use myself. It is a paid site, but the images are great and you can purchase 5 downloads for $49. I created two book covers using five images from this site. Not a bad price if you ask me.

That is where I get all mine from back ground, to main picture. if you buy credits first, and buy pictures with them, it's real cheap.

Zoltán (witchhunter) | 267 comments Pixabay also has loads of good meterial. They are royalty free and they use a 'buy a coffee' system -> They encourage you to donate some money to the owner of the photo if you use it. (You decide.)
