message 3: by Brenda (new)

Brenda (splashofbooks) I am. I'd say I'm about two thirds of the way through the book.

Joy | 110 comments I just finished it. How are you finding it?

message 5: by Brenda (new)

Brenda (splashofbooks) I just finished the book today. I was not expecting some of the plot twists, and thought it got more exciting towards the end of the book. What about yourself?

message 6: by Megan (new)

Megan (meganmreads) | 45 comments I absolutely loved American Gods. It was such a great book with a unique perspective on the way legends/early gods work in a newer country. I loved the themes. It's probably my favorite Gaiman book so far.

Joy | 110 comments I really enjoyed it. I find mythology really interesting and I enjoyed seeing how the old gods coped in the new world. it introduced me to different types of mythology too. I'm from Ireland so I'm quite familiar with Irish and Norse legends, but we don't really have any influence from Africa or Eastern Europe here.
