Combine two editions from different languages

The book රණමඟ ඔස්සේ නන්දිකඩාල් needs to be combined with Road to Nandikadal, which is the English edition of the book.

However since the books are already created separately there's no way to do that. (Or is there? Couldn't find one.)

How should I do this?

The primary author should be the same on all editions. Since there is an English edition of the book, the primary author is (should be) the name in English: Kamal Gunaratne (titles, such as Major General, should not be used in the author name - have removed it).

If you add that name as primary author to the Sinhalese edition you'll find that you can combine the two. See https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/4...

Hi lethe, thanks for the comment. Can I combine the two author profiles? Because apparently who created the book has created two author profiles as well. One in Sinhalese and another in English.

No, no! If you read the links to the second help topic, you'll see that both author profiles should remain. Author profiles in different languages should never be merged.

As I had already explained, the English version of the author name should be in primary position. Have moved it to the primary position on the Sinhalese edition, and removed the Sinhalese version from the English edition.
